You never know what you might find! Yesterday, I stumbled across two ex-display childrens curtains, in bright and beautiful stripes. At £10 each – absolute bargain. It would be more than that for the original fabric alone!

I have now spent my Sunday afternoon turning some of the fabric into a new cushion for our lounge. The ‘How To Make a Cushion‘ guide from IKEA – is really easy to follow, and it really didn’t take long at all to go from cutting out the fabric, to et voila, a brand-spankily-delightful-and-new cushion.
